Therapy

In this series, I wanted to make work that was more personal to me. In my life I have often been referred to as a control freak, I like my world just the way I like it and often get irritated when things are out of place. I also have a slight obsessive approach to the neatness and cleanliness of where I live. While being a student, this was tested to the limit. Living with other people in an environment I cant necessarily control, has tested my ability to exercise the normal rules i live by. As time has worn on, I came to the very important realisation that there is no need to work myself up about these little things I cannot change.

I focused on these little pieces of dirt and dust that accumulated around my house and I have confronted this by making these essentially dirty images into beautiful photographs, with the soft textures.
